SafeCom solutions have been deployed widely across sectors such as commerce, higher and further education local government and police. The SafeCom suite is a well tested framework of components that can be combined to form powerful print and copy management solutions, which integrate tightly with an organization's network and server infrastructure. Custom-built import tools can be provided to link existing user and security card databases to the SafeCom data. Implementations in environments with such inherent complexities require skill and experience.
Another factor crucial to the long-term success of a SafeCom solution deployment is active ownership by the customer or their IT service provider. Any IT system requires ongoing maintenance and it is therefore vital that the initial installation and configuration of the software is carried out in partnership with the future 'owner' of the solution. This ensures an effective knowledge transfer to the 'owner'. It is the aim of all of our technical consultants to us their time on-site to transfer sufficient knowledge for that 'ownership' to be effective.
Paper-River can only provide assistance with the deployment and configuration as well as training around a SafeCom solution. For it to succeed the project must be owned and responsibility take for by the customer.
Each quote for a solution will also allocate off-site consultancy time to assist the customer with the preparation for an install and also to provide initial post-sales and post installation support.
For ongoing and long-term support a separate agreement will be required.
