The QuickDrop Connectivity Platform has digital mail room integration, email integration, desktop client tools, departmental MFD and bulk scanning connectors and mobile working interfaces. Like a comprehensive road network system, it connects all origins and destinations and allows information to be passed and shared collaboratively between users without any physical constrains for immediate shared decision making. Because the QuickDrop Connectivity Platform sits on top of the FlowMatrix Workflow Engine it can also utilise the power of algorithms, OCR, and high-speed logical analysis to automate or speed up how information is created and directed in the most efficient possible way
When a law firm creates matters and sends out paper and electronic information the QuickDrop MFD connector (or FlowMatrix Digital Mail Room module) can be used to acquire this information locally or centrally (all paper and electronic submissions). The QuickDrop products will use FlowMatrix core document workflows to parse and analyse the document types to classify or categorise them and search for client and matter identifying information.
If matter reference is found and checked against the client it can be converted to a PDF, profiled, and send straight into the legal content system. If the document needs approval or verification first it might be sent to a departmental QuickDrop queue – this could be the actual fee earner associated with the matter or the secretarial group associated with the fee earner. From the QuickDrop Desktop client the user can further profile, title or QA the document and quickly submit it to the content system in a very few ‘clicks’
Every aspect of the scenario described utilises simple to use minimum-click interfaces and leverages as much information as possible contained within the document itself to automate its delivery. All users and information are always connected instantly, and digitisation happens at source so the content of the document can be utilised almost instantaneously. Full step-by-step audit of all information flows ensures that no documents are lost at any point from the moment they are acquired.
